Promoting Surrogacy Services via Google Ads: Leads from $26.20

In the past, we have already had successful experience with this medical center specializing in surrogacy. Thanks to our work, they were able to engage couples through Facebook who were facing this challenge. What was special was that we focused on those who already had experience in this area, had visited various clinics, and understood the surrogacy process.

Work on the medical center project

We started by analyzing the medical center’s website to identify and remove stop words. In the field of medicine, there are always some difficulties with promotion due to the restrictions that search engines place on the use of certain terms.

The importance of removing stop words lies in the fact that they can cause blocking and banning of ads and the advertising account. In order to convey important information with stop words on the website, we suggested embedding them in images and videos. We also suggested that the client prepare the information in a video format, as Google does not index videos, which helps to avoid problems.

It was also foreseen that new advertising accounts could be blocked by Google, since we were working with a “trigger” topic. However, as a Google partner, we were able to use special accounts, which helped us to cope with the blocking and quickly restore the operation of advertising campaigns during blocking.

Work progress

The first month

Our work began with the launch of search and Performance Max campaigns, where we focused on optimizing budgets and identifying the most effective strategies. Additionally, we improved recommendations, distributed a list of “negative words” and set up geotargeting. We paid special attention to working with audiences, launching ads for different user groups and age categories. To effectively track the results, we set up GA4 and GTM, and installed conversion tracking in these systems. Even with a minimal budget, we were able to get a first idea of the audience's reaction to the services and get the first high-quality conversions. In the future, we plan to scale effective campaigns and gradually increase budgets. However, this should be done carefully so as not to “break” Google's algorithms.

The second month

In the second month, our work was aimed at continuing to work with budgets and strategies, developing recommendations, distributing a list of “minus words,” working on audiences, and optimizing the account. We also provided daily reporting and account monitoring. This stage showed positive results in the form of high-quality conversions for a minimal amount of money. The most successful campaigns will be scaled up with further budget increases. At the same time, campaigns that have shown less efficiency will have a smaller budget, which will allow you to get even more conversions for a smaller amount.

The third month

In the third month, we stopped the existing campaigns but launched new ones at the same time. We continued to implement recommendations and optimize the account, and performed daily reporting. One of the key stages was cleaning up search queries and working on semantics. We changed UTM tags and set up GTM for the new domain.

The fourth month

In our fourth month of operation, we revised our geographic goals and promotion strategy. We continued to work with budgets and their allocation, conducted a niche analysis, and focused geo-targeting on Europe and the UK. We analyzed the semantics and worked on it, cleaned up search queries, and added to the list of “negative words”. The analysis of results and user behavior allowed us to finalize recommendations and adjust the strategy. In terms of geographical targeting, we focused on Canada and the United States of America. Other geos were disabled due to the lack of effective results.
