Work on the project
Our agency offers a professional selection of bloggers for your advertising campaign. We carefully analyze YouTube channels to ensure maximum efficiency of your advertising integrations.
What we do:
- Selection of relevant YouTube channels for advertising according to your niche.
- Checking channels for cheats, fake comments, and other signs of a low-quality audience.
- Calculation of average video views and determination of the acceptable range of ad prices.
- Entering data into a table with a forecast of the result from views to conversions to the site.
- Providing a detailed report with the selected bloggers in the form of a table.
The cost of the service: $350 (one-time).
The term of execution: 4-5 business days.
This service will help you save time and effort on blogger research and analysis, providing clear forecasts and realistic results for your advertising campaign.
As an agency, we also offer a service for bulk buying of advertising from bloggers, which saves you time and effort.
What is included in our work:
- Negotiating with bloggers and agreeing on the terms of placement.
- Preparation of scenarios for integrating opinion leaders into the content.
- Creating detailed terms of reference for bloggers.
- Coordination and approval of advertising content before publication.
- Control of advertising placement and analysis of activity.
- Providing reports on the results of the advertising campaign.
Our approach: We give you the opportunity to get a direct price from the blogger without additional fees. This means that you pay for your own advertising using favorable terms that we negotiate. Thanks to our experience, we often get discounts from bloggers because we work with them directly, and these discounts are passed on to you.
What you get:
- A direct price for advertising on the blogger’s website without hidden extra charges.
- We take care of all the routine tasks: selection of bloggers, negotiations, coordination of the process.
- Growth of your channel or product thanks to the target audience of bloggers.
Cost of service: Our agency works on a commission model – 15-20% of the blogger’s advertising budget. The cost of the advertising budget is discussed individually for each project.
If you value your time and want to get the most out of blogger advertising, our services are what you need.
Advantages of working through bloggers
The main advantage of working with opinion leaders is that they have already gathered the target audience you need. Bloggers have not only established contact with these people, but also built strong trusting relationships with them. When a blogger promotes your product, this trust is automatically transferred to you. People trust the blogger, and this has a big impact on their buying decision. By advertising through a blogger, you trigger the word-of-mouth effect, when recommendations spread organically, from one user to another. It should be noted that bloggers carefully choose partners for advertising, so it is important that your product is relevant to their audience.
Advertising goals
Work with bloggers can be organized in two ways:
- Redirecting traffic to external resources – this can be your website, registration in the application, or any other source outside the YouTube platform.
- Increase subscribers on your YouTube channel – through integration into blogger content, you can significantly increase the number of subscribers and views on your channel.
In this case, the client wanted to direct traffic to external platforms, which he controlled through analytics in the video description.
Benefits of working with bloggers
- You get access to a ready-made target audience.
- You can quickly attract new subscribers, customers, and increase sales. Bulk purchase of advertising from bloggers immediately brings tangible results without requiring long-term optimization.
- Flexible terms of cooperation – you can choose a format that meets your needs and goals.
- Creating a “word of mouth” effect that allows you to spread information about the product quickly and naturally.
- Increasing brand loyalty through a trusting relationship between the blogger and his or her audience.
Disadvantages of working with bloggers
- It is difficult to accurately predict the result. Even when using forecasting methods, there are risks that creative may be released at the wrong time or without the desired effect.
- Bloggers’ ad placement prices may be inflated and vary depending on their popularity or personal circumstances.
- The process of agreeing on terms and creatives can be longer, as bloggers are often creative in their approach to cooperation.
- Advertising does not always pay off from the first placement, but its effect can be long-lasting, as the content continues to work even after the campaign ends.
- There may be disagreements about the timing or format of placement, which may affect the effectiveness of the campaign.
General scheme of working with YouTube bloggers
To succeed in an advertising campaign with YouTube bloggers, you need to follow a clear pattern. Here are the main steps:
- Defining the goal: Initially, it is important to understand what exactly you want to achieve – redirecting traffic to external sources (website, app) or promoting your YouTube channel to increase subscribers and views.
- Search for bloggers with a relevant audience: This can be done through blogger exchanges or by manual search, but the key is to find bloggers whose followers match your target audience.
- Manual evaluation of channels: Evaluate bloggers by several indicators:
- Whether the channel is actively maintained (how often videos are released).
- The average number of views on the last 20 videos.
- The number of likes and comments, as well as their quality.
- Availability of contact information for connection.
- Entering data into the table: Create a spreadsheet where you enter all the collected data about bloggers for further analysis
- SocialBlade evaluation: Use this service to analyze channels by key indicators such as growth, engagement, and stability.
- Writing to bloggers: Before cooperating, write a letter to bloggers with information about yourself and your product, indicate which advertising format you are interested in, and ask for channel statistics and advertising prices.
- Getting a response from the blogger: After receiving a response on statistics and terms of cooperation, you can choose the most relevant channels for further work.
- Checking the effectiveness of advertising: Launch a test campaign to evaluate the effectiveness of each channel.
- Compare channels: Based on the results of your test ads, select the most appropriate channels for your full-scale campaign.
- Approve and pay for the placement: After finalizing the blogger, agree on the ad format and pay for the placement.
- Prepare creative:Write a script and create advertising content for placement. Don’t forget to add a UTM tag and shorten the link using special services (for example, bit.ly).
- Video approval before publishing: Ask the blogger to send the video for approval before publishing to make sure it’s of high quality.
- Reminder of publication: The day before the video is scheduled to be released, remind the blogger of the posting and the exact time of publication.
- Follow up on the day of publication: After publishing, double-check the video and links to make sure everything is working properly.
- Check the effectiveness of advertising: Track the results of your ad campaign within 48 hours, 5 days, and 14 days after the video goes live.
- Analyze the results: Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising based on targeted actions: conversions, registrations, sales, etc.
This scheme will help you build effective work with bloggers on YouTube and maximize your return on investment.
Formats of advertising on YouTube by bloggers
Working with YouTube bloggers offers a variety of ad formats, each of which can be tailored to your goals and budget. Here are the main formats to work with:
Ambassadorship
This is one of the most complex and expensive formats where a blogger becomes a representative of your brand. The brand pays for the contract and uses the blogger not only on YouTube but also in external advertising campaigns. This allows the brand to integrate the blogger into broader marketing efforts.
Advertising review, special project or exclusive
In this format, the blogger devotes the entire video to your product or service. It can be a promotional review, a special project, or an exclusive ad where all the content is focused on your brand.
Advertising in video: Prerol, Midrol, Postrol
Preroll
A short commercial insert at the beginning of a video usually lasts up to 30 seconds. This is one of the most effective but also the most expensive formats. We will focus more on it.
Pre-rolls are usually 15 to 30 seconds long and are one of the most effective ad formats on YouTube because viewers are forced to watch them before the main video starts. This format allows you to capture the viewer’s attention in the first few seconds and convey a key message about your product or service.
How to implement an effective pre-roll:
Structure: A pre-email should have a clear structure that allows you to convey a key message in a matter of seconds. There are several formulas for building pre-rolls:
- Formula 1: the first 5 seconds are to hook the viewer, the next 20 seconds are to convey the main idea. The last 5 seconds are a call to action.
- Formula 2: Grab the attention in the first 5 seconds with questions that are relevant to the audience or provocative phrases. Explain the main idea for 20 seconds, then remind the main message and call to action at the end.
- Formula 3: Make a brief introduction of the product, draw attention to the problem your product solves, and end with a call to follow the link.
What to say in the preview:
- A presentation of the channel or brand: For example, if you’re promoting another channel, you can briefly introduce the blogger or product, link to a video, or insert highlights from their video.
- Story: If the preview is intended to promote the channel, tell us about its strengths, what interesting things you can learn, and why you should subscribe. Leave a link in the description below the video and integrate it into the end screensaver.
- Contest or giveaway: This is a good way to encourage your audience to click on a link, especially if there is a chance to win physical goods or services.
How to prepare a pre-roll:
- Text: Prepare several versions of the text for the preroll: for 15, 20, and 30 seconds. Use a timer to estimate the time of the text (for example, hronomer.ru).
- Video content: Promos should contain interesting and exciting moments. It is recommended to use different angles: close-ups, medium shots, and general shots. To do this, it is important to work with professional cameramen or editors.
- Description: in the video description itself, leave a link with a clear call to action, which can be a contest or a subscription to the channel. For analytics, add a UTM tag to the link to track conversions (for example, “?sub_confirmation=1”).
Advantages of pre-roll:
- High attention: since the pre-roll is viewed before the main content, viewers are more focused, which increases the effectiveness of advertising.
- Targeting capabilities: Pre-rolls can be targeted to specific audiences based on interests, demographics, and user behavior.
- Calls to action: you can easily add a direct call to action to a preview, motivating viewers to take a specific action: follow a link, subscribe to a channel, or learn more.
Examples of effective pre-rolls:
- A prorol for services: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSJ7w78iG90&t=378s
- Preroll for your personal brand: https://youtu.be/hFDU7LURiM4
- Business preroll: https://youtu.be/YN97mdcD2Q8
- Preroll for the course: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1QE8DxkOas&t=86s
Thus, prerolls are one of the best options for attracting viewers’ attention and increasing the effectiveness of your YouTube advertising campaign.
Midroll
An ad appears in the middle of a video when the viewer is already engaged in the video. The price of this format is traditionally lower than that of prerolls, but its effectiveness depends on how willing the viewer is not to miss the ad.
Postroll
Advertising at the end of a video. This is the cheapest option, but its effectiveness is much lower, as viewers often do not watch the video to the end.
Integration into content
Native advertising, where a blogger organically mentions a product or brand in their video. It looks like a part of the content and usually inspires more trust from the audience.
Collaboration.
This is a joint project between a blogger and a brand, where the video is entirely dedicated to the client’s product. This integration allows for a deeper dive into the product and a high level of audience engagement. This is the option we offer to others, so we will also focus on it.
Collaboration is one of the most powerful tools for collaboration between brands and bloggers. This format involves the creation of a joint project where a video or a series of videos is entirely dedicated to the client’s product or service. It’s not just a mention or a short advertisement – collaboration allows a blogger to talk in detail about your brand in the context of their content, which helps to maximize audience engagement.
How to implement a collaboration:
- Collaborative video format: This is one of the most common collaboration formats where a blogger and a brand come together to create a video where the blogger tries out a product, participates in the creation or demonstration of a service, or reviews a product. For example, a food blogger can prepare a dish using your products, or a tech reviewer can talk in detail about your brand’s new product.
- Interviews or personal interaction: If your brand is related to personal services, such as training or manufacturing, you can organize interviews or filming of the process. For example, if you have an English language school, a blogger can go through the stage from beginner level to spoken English, showing the progress to the audience. If you are a furniture manufacturer, a blogger can visit your production and show the process of creating furniture.
- Collaborations on two channels: To maximize your reach, you can often use a format where videos are published simultaneously on two channels: one on the blogger’s channel and the other on yours. This allows for mutual exchange of audiences, which increases the number of subscribers on both channels. This approach promotes long-term interaction with the audience.
- Challenges or contests: One of the most interesting ways to interact with your audience is to organize challenges or contests with a blogger. It can be a challenge related to the use of your product or a contest to draw prizes among subscribers. This format not only attracts new customers but also increases the activity of existing ones.
Advantages of collaborations:
- Deep audience engagement: since the video is entirely dedicated to your product, the blogger has the opportunity to reveal all its benefits, which allows the audience to better understand and trust the brand.
- Organic advertising: unlike direct advertising inserts, collaborations look more natural. A blogger uses a product or service in their regular content, which creates the effect of native advertising.
- Word-of-mouth effect: after the video is published, the collaboration continues to work for you – viewers share the video, discuss it, and thus naturally promote the brand.
- Long-lasting effect: A successful collaboration can bring results long after the video is released, as viewers continue to watch the content.
Examples of collaborations on YouTube:
Results forecast: We usually expect higher click-through rates and audience engagement in collaborations compared to other advertising formats. In a successful collaboration, 5-30% of viewers can click on a link and become your customers. In some cases, this figure can be even higher depending on the engagement of the audience.
Native integration
The brand is naturally integrated into the blogger’s content. For example, a culinary blogger uses your brand’s products while cooking. It looks organic and doesn’t cause rejection from viewers.
Advertising in the community
This format is often underestimated, but it is effective. A blogger can make a post in the community tab recommending your product or service.
Additional formats
- Adding to recommended channels – your channel can appear in the “Recommended” block on the blogger’s page.
- Adding videos to playlists, end screensavers, and tooltips – This will help increase traffic to your video or channel through the blogger’s existing content.
- Advertising in YouTube Stories-Short videos in the blogger’s “Stories”.
- A like from the author on your video – the blogger marks your video, which can attract the attention of his audience.
These advertising formats allow you to flexibly customize campaigns for specific tasks and audiences, maximizing the benefits of working with YouTube bloggers.
Blogger database
Building a blogger base
We started by identifying the target countries where promotion was needed.
We selected bloggers with a relevant audience: to do this, we collected the channel name, the number of subscribers, and the number of views for the last 10–20 videos, which allowed us to assess the channel’s activity. For the analysis, we used the last 3 months of data.
We calculated the average number of views based on 20 videos, which gives an idea of the average audience of the channel.
We analyzed the engagement rate, which reflects how many percent of subscribers actively interact with the content. We consider 20% to be the ideal figure, as it indicates a “live” audience that constantly interacts with the author’s content.

Preparation for cooperation
We used the Social Blade tool to assess the dynamics of the channel: whether the channel is growing or declining, or whether it is stable. Our goal was to choose “growing” channels where advertising will work for a long time.
Examples of growing channels

Examples of spun channels

We checked whether the channel had any signs of cheating on views and likes.

Advertising formats
We offer our clients two main approaches to advertising on bloggers’ YouTube channels:
- Direct purchase of ads on a blogger’s channel. This is a traditional approach when a client pays a blogger for placing ads directly on their channel. There are several formats of advertising.
- Running paid ads through YouTube Ads to a blogger’s audience: This is another approach where you use YouTube’s targeting capabilities to show your ad to a specific blogger’s subscribers. The advantage of this format is that you control the display of the ad, rather than depending on the time of the video’s publication or the format used by the blogger. You can create your own video and target it to the blogger’s audience through YouTube Ads.
Our approach to estimating the cost of advertising:
- We estimate the cost of advertising placement based on the number of views and the engagement rate of the channel. If a blogger has an engagement rate of more than 20%, this indicates an active and interested audience, which makes advertising more effective.
- We use a special coefficient of trust in a blogger, which affects the cost of advertising. It can vary from 2 to 5 and shows how much the audience trusts the content created by the blogger. The higher the coefficient, the greater the impact of the ad on viewers.

Predicting results
We also predict the number of clicks on a link after watching an ad. For pre-rolls, this is usually 7-10% of the total number of viewers who watched the video. In the case of deep integrations, such as interviews or special reviews, this figure can reach 10-15%.

Sub-niches
When building the blogger base for the client, we also paid attention to choosing the sub-niches that best fit their product: Finance, technology, tech review, shopping, etc. These sub-niches allowed us to focus on the audience that is already interested in overlapping topics with cryptocurrency exchanges and online earnings, which increased the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Negotiations and agreements
We started communicating with bloggers: we sent letters to e-mail, as well as contacted them through social networks. Bloggers usually need to write several times through different channels to achieve a result.
The first letter contained information about our interest in cooperation and a request to provide information about advertising formats and cost.
We ask the client to make an advance payment, for example, in the amount of $ 400, to avoid any misunderstandings. This allows us to be sure of the seriousness of the client’s intentions and avoid situations when advertising has already been purchased, and the client stops contacting us. The deposit acts as a financial guarantee that ensures transparent and reliable cooperation between all parties.
Monitoring results
After placing the advertisement, we monitored the effectiveness, in particular, the number of clicks on the link (for pre-rolls this indicator is usually 7-10%, for deep integrations – up to 15%). Analytical tools were also used to check the real indicators of conversions and advertising effectiveness.
